On Friday, February 10, 2023, team members gathered for an informal meeting to initiate the planning of project activities. The NIdEA Project, supported by the Serbian Ministry of Education and Science, officially commenced on April 1 and will be implemented over the next 24 months.
Researchers from the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade and the State University of Novi Pazar, in collaboration with teachers and educational professionals from secondary schools across Serbia, will investigate intercultural practices in schools, the way students construct their ethnic identities, and the influence of schools in this process. The aim of the project is to enhance practices and policies related to intercultural education in Serbia.
