In the last months of 2024, the NIdEA project team traveled to six cities across Serbia, presenting research findings and encouraging discussions on interculturality in education.
The first event took place in Novi Pazar, at the Cultural Center’s Grand Hall, where we discussed students’, teachers’, and parents’ perspectives on ethnic identity, with a special performance by the State University Choir. In Sjenica, at the Technical-Agricultural School’s Student Dormitory, we shared key research insights.
Next, in Kragujevac, we engaged in a discussion at TUŠ “Toza Dragović,” focusing on the challenges of intercultural education. In Zemun, at the Medical School “Nadežda Petrović,” we exchanged experiences with students and teachers.
Our journey continued in Bela Palanka, where we returned to the “Niketa Remezijanski” High School for the third time, sharing our findings with the local community. The final event took place in Novi Sad, at the “Evropa” Student Dormitory, where we discussed the importance of interculturality in higher education.
These meetings highlighted the importance of fostering dialogue and strengthening intercultural competencies in the education system.
